Tinka took over Dierenpension 't Laarbroek from her father-in-law. Alongside kennels, the business offers shared living rooms for sociable dogs. When planning care, she wanted one thing above all: to see immediately how many dogs were staying.
After studying animal care, Tinka worked first at a boarding facility and then at a veterinary practice. She still returned to boarding work during holidays and days off. When the chance came to join her father-in-law’s business, she took it. She later took over the facility.
Care and planning go hand in hand
The day involves feeding, cleaning, playtime and welcoming customers. Admin often comes afterwards. Counting dogs in the diary by hand was taking up a lot of Tinka’s time.
From separate tools to one clear view
The business started with paper records, then used Excel and software mainly designed for grooming salons. Tinka tried Aniday to see whether it was a better fit. The team helped her make the switch and explained how everything worked.
In a separate building, she replaced kennels with living rooms where sociable dogs can stay together and go outside. Dogs that need more quiet get their own space. Each morning, the team discusses which dogs are present and who will do what. A clear occupancy view fits directly into that daily routine.
Occupancy at a glance
Aniday counts the dogs for Tinka. She no longer needs to go back through the diary and can check occupancy straight away. That practical view is the biggest benefit for her. When she has questions, she appreciates the team’s quick help in finding a solution.
