Alice took over Hondenschool Lingewaard in 2021 after years of experience as a trainer. She helps students build a good working relationship with their dogs. Aniday gives her more time to focus on teaching.
Before taking over the school, Alice worked in a distribution centre and taught at weekends. Seeing students make progress with her advice gave her energy. When Lingewaard’s previous owners decided to stop, she hesitated at first, then took the opportunity. She has not regretted it.
Learning at the dog’s pace
From puppy classes to scent detection and agility, Lingewaard focuses on achievable exercises and enjoyable training. Alice considers what each dog and owner needs. She also values working with other dog training schools.
Students enter their own details
Registrations used to arrive by email, and Alice entered all the information manually. Now students sign up themselves and enter their details once. When a new group starts, Alice no longer has to repeat the same admin for every participant.
The difference is especially clear at the start of a course. Twelve new students used to mean copying all their information twelve times. Now participants enter those details themselves, and Alice can find them whenever she needs them. Preparing for lessons starts with less admin.
